Our Mission
The Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha (LCGW) is dedicated to providing and advocating basic literacy skills and services to improve the quality of life of our learners. LCGW provides one-on-one tutoring to individuals who need to improve their basic skills including reading, writing, math, English as a second language (ESL), GED and citizen participation.
Each week more than 200 volunteer LCGW tutors meet one-on-one with their students to make meaningful changes in their lives.
