Join us at Steinhafel's Super Store in Waukesha on Sunday, February 19th 2012 for the annual LCGW Scrabble games.
This is not your typical Scrabble game!
- Team members work together to quickly fill up their boards with as many high-value words as possible
- Extra random tiles can be purchased (three tiles for $25)
- Extra specific tiles can be purchased (three tiles for $50)
- A dictionary peek can be purchased for $20
Prizes are awarded in both the corporate team and independent team categories. All proceeds benefit the students of the Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha. Lunch is included. Click here to download a registration form

Special Event - Citizenship Training for Tutors
The Literacy Council will be holding a special tutor training session on 02/21/12 designed to train our tutors about the citizenship process and how to help our students, who wish to do so, become United States Citizens. This training will be taught by Lynn Spangler at WCTC. Please RSVP by email to cathy@waukeshaliteracy.org .

What Are New Tutor Orientations?
New Tutor Orientation Meetings are informational sessions, held one or more times each month.
Meetings last one hour and consist of an introduction to the volunter tutoring program.
