Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha, Inc., provides confidential, one-on-one tutoring and mentoring services to individuals who need help with reading, writing, spelling, math, and English as a second language.
Funding is provided through donations from individuals, service organizations and businesses, as well as a Community Development Block Grant and the United Way.
Services are targeted to people who live or work in Waukesha County and who are of low to moderate income. These individuals are at greater risk of being unemployed or underemployed, working in minimum wage jobs, or holding jobs that require retraining.
