"Each one teach one"
THE STUDENTS
Illiteracy crosses all demographic lines. Our
students are of all races, religions, economic and educational
backgrounds.
They range from six years old to more than 80
years old. Some have learning disabilities. Some missed school a
lot. Others were abused and neglected. Their needs range from
beginning reading to basic life skills, like writing a check, to learning
to speak English.
