Become A Tutor
LCGW volunteer tutors work one-on-one with an assigned student for a minimum of 1 hour per week. No special educational background or experience is required to become a tutor.
The LCGW offers training sessions throughout the year for both basic and ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction strategy.

In addition to tutoring, the Literacy Councils relies on volunteers to help with office administation work, special events, and serving on committees. If you have additional skills or resources that you feel could benefit the Literacy Council we'd love to hear from you!
